I recently got home after a weekend trip up north in San Francisco and I had the pleasure of staying at the beautiful Hilton San Francisco Union Square. I wanted to share with you all about my trip and my time at the property! I am quite familiar with Hilton Properties; over the years I have stayed at many of their properties as well as their sister properties, such as Conrad Chicago. One thing all the properties have in common is the amazing service I received when staying there. So there was no surprise that upon check in at Hilton San Francisco Union Square, I was so pleased with the hospitality. From check in to check out everything was so smooth and I could not have been any happier!
Hilton San Francisco Union Square is located in the heart of San Francisco. It is situated on the most ideal spot in the city in my opinion. The name says it all, it is located in Union Square, which means it is literally steps away from amazing restaurants, great shopping, and other attractions. I like to stay in Union Square because it is so lively and there is always something to do! It is also a very central location with easy access to other attractions in the city such as Fishermans Wharf, The Mission District, and The Golden Gate Bridge. When you’re in Union Square, you are pretty much in the middle of the city so I would definitely recommend it for those who want to be in a area with a lot to do and easy access to other areas of the city.
Hilton San Francisco Union Square is a large property with many rooms as well as great restaurants and amenities. After we checked in, we made our way up to the room. Our room was located on the 38th floor and as soon as I opened the door I was immediately drawn to the view! It was seriously the best view of the city I had ever seen. And the best part was that the room had a balcony. So I spent pretty much every morning out there taking in the view while catching up on emails and enjoying my morning coffee. It was seriously stunning! The room itself was also so great. It was roomy and extremely clean.. which is one of the most important things I look for whenever stating at a hotel. I was so happy with everything! Also the team at Hilton San Francisco Union Square was so kind and greeted me with a warm welcome gift upon arrival. I think it is so sweet whenever a company takes the time to do that and I really appreciated the kind gesture:)
So a little more about the property and it’s amenities. The hotel suits everyone! Whether it is for a business trip or a family getaway, the property offers amenities for everyone and their needs. They have a business center, a fitness and recreation center, as well as quite a few dining options. I spent my mornings at the breakfast buffet at Poached and was very impressed with their selection! It was delicious. However, my favorite spot in the hotel for sure had to be Cityscape Bar and Lounge. Located on the top floor of the property, Cityscape offers delicious cocktails and bites and a beautiful ambiance overlooking the city. You get views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Coit Tower, and all of San Francisco. It is stunning and a great place to unwind after a day of exploring the city! The Lobby Bar is also a great place to hangout and if you’re looking for a quick bit on the go check out Herb N’ Kitchen. Urban Tavern is another restaurant on the property featuring a full menu of locally-inspired dishes. I love when hotels offer different options for dining and Hilton San Francisco Union Square does just that!
If you’re in the city, there are quite a few attractions you must see while in town. Some of my favorites include visiting the Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman’s Wharf, Alcatraz, Chinatown, Union Square, The Mission District, Ghirardelli Square, The Marina, and Golden Gate Park.
Overall, I had such a great time in the city! It is always so fun visiting and I can’t wait to go back. Special thank you to Hilton San Francisco Union Square and their staff for the amazing hospitality. If you are ever visiting the city, I highly recommend staying with them! As always, thank you for reading and feel free to leave any questions you have in the comments. xx, S.
