The 70’s are making a huge comeback in fashion and one of the most popular trends swinging in for Fall is the suede skirt. Whether you opt for a mini skirt or prefer a midi, the suede skirt is one piece necessary in your closet this season. I really love how versatile the look can be; it can be styled many different ways and can hangout in your wardrobe through every season. Like I just mentioned, this skirt can be worn many different ways but for today’s look I opted for a more clean cut and simple style. I paired the mini skirt with a black turtle neck and black knee high boots. I wanted to keep the focus on my skirt so in order to do so, I knew I had to go for a more simple top. For the longest time I steered away from turtle necks; I was never really a fan until last year when I suddenly found an obsession and bought like 7 turtle necks lol! As covered up as turtle necks are, I still find them to be sexy when styled certain ways! I paired my look with my favorite knee high boots from Stuart Weitzman and my Louis Vutitton side bag. If you’re looking to invest in a pair of quality boots, I suggest going with a pair of Stuarts. Yes, they are pricey but well worth the investment because you’ll always get use out of them, whether it’s for a night out or a casual brunch. I also love how fitted they are and don’t slide down my legs (huge pet peeve!!!). The suede skirt is one trend this season I’m obsessing over! Whether you style it with a fringe jacket, demin shirt, classic tee, or a leather jacket, you can’t go wrong with this look! Happy Friday 🙂
