LACED UP DENIM

Happy 2016! I hope everyone had a happy New Year and had a great first week of January. Today on the blog I’m wearing a look featuring one of my favorite denim brands, Carmar. In case you missed my last post featuring their pants, check it out here! As I had mentioned previously, I love the versatility the brand offers in comparison to some others; I can always count on them when I’m looking for something unique yet super stylish. For today’s look, I’m wearing their lace-up pants, which I’m obsessing over. The lace-up trend was huge in 2015, and it will definitely carry on over to 2016! I’m always finding myself resorting back to my black denim, so it’s sometimes nice to find a pair that offers that look but with a little something more to it, like these do. I paired the pants with a simple grey Topshop tank and an embellished leather moto jacket from Zara. The combination of the embellished jacket with the lace makes the look super edgy. I finished off the look with a silver buckle belt (also a huge trend right now), Zara booties, and some fun jewelry.
