Everyone from bloggers to celebrities to your everyday fashionista is sporting one trend right now: lace ups. Lace up tops, lace up dresses, lace up jumpsuits, and even lace up shoes! You can find this trend everywhere from the runway to the red carpet to your favorite store –  and I’m loving it. We’re seeing top designers like Givenchy and Balmain incorporate this look into their designs which are seen all over the runway and on high profile celebrities. Luckily, this trend can be found at every price point and I guarantee you can get the look from your favorite store. I’ve been looking for the perfect lace up dress for a while so when I received this dress from TFNC London I was so excited to wear it! One thing I’ve noticed with this trend is you have to be careful not to cross the line where the look turns tacky or trashy, and that is what I appreciate about this dress. The loose fit, classic hem line, and half sleeve really keeps the dress classy, while the laced up front adds a flirty touch and sexiness to the look. One thing I want to point out is that there are a variety of lace up tops and dresses that will work for you, and your.. how do I say.. “chest situation” – it may be hard to find the right fit, but there are plenty of options out there! I paired the look with my favorite pair of patent black booties from Steve Madden. I had originally tried the look with a pair of nude strappy heels but after looking at test shots, I wasn’t a fan. I think the dress looked better paired with black shoes, specifically something closed toe and edgy so I changed into these booties. I finished off the look with my Chloe Faye bag. The good thing about this trend is it has come up in all seasons and can really work any time of the year. When transitioning into Fall, I plan on styling this look with a long coat and booties or knee high boots. Whether your style is lace up dresses or shoes, there are plenty of ways to get this look!

If you’re looking to lace it up this season, here are some of my favorite looks:
