FESTIVE BOYFRIEND BLAZER

 Happy Monday! The holidays are such a busy time of year – aside from all the Christmas shopping to do, there are tons of events and parties during this season. For today’s post I wanted to blog an evening look perfect for this festive season! I’m all for the party dress, but I wanted to do something a little different while still incorporating my personal style. Thus, I opted for a party blazer! I paired this festive boyfriend blazer with a leather skirt from Topshop and a basic black tank. My go-to look for events and parties usually consists of something along the lines of.. all black (shocker).. but during this time of year I like to change it up a bit and this blazer gives me just that. I like how it is still edgy with its boyfriend style fit and black accent panels, but the silver metallic shimmer gives it that festive feel. I paired the look with strappy heels from Steve Madden and a fun silver clutch from Topshop. The clutch works well with the blazer and pulls the whole look together with the metallic tones. Since this look is not super fancy, I think it is perfect for a company party or small holiday get together with friends. If you’re not a fan of leather, this blazer pairs perfect with a black velvet skirt or dress! What I love about this whole look is that it is something that can be really worn any time of year, but works well for cocktail parties and such during this season!
