EDGY STRIPES

Happy  Monday babes and Happy November! I can’t believe the holidays are right around the corner, crazy right!? Today’s look is all about this red and black striped set. Of course, it is from Zara.. one of my favorite places to shop! Lately I’ve been so tired of my bottoms, I’ve been looking to change things up and wear more trousers and different pieces, aside from denim. So when I saw this set I needed it! The fact that it has a top to go with it makes things a lot easier, but I will definitely be wearing these two pieces separately as well.

Swap out the top for a black crop top and throw on a black blazer for a night out. Or pair the top with some black skinnies for a different look. The options are endless and that’s ultimately what I look for when I make my purchases. Also, you can’t beat the price! The pants were only $25 and the top was $29. Pretty good! I was definitely expecting it to be more pricey.

I paired the look with my favorite open toe heels, but I think it would also look good with classic pointed toe heels or even booties. I have also been trying to take more risks with what I wear and going outside of my comfort zone, so with this look I paired the outfit with my leopard red YSL bag. Mixing upexpected prints for sure – which is a big trend these days! At first I was like, could this work…. and then shot some photos and was so glad I went for the bold bag instead of my safe option, a black bag. What are your thoughts on this look? Let me know!

Omg! Zara has the best pieces! I dont have an actual Zara store where I’m at but I’m going out of town next week to a place that has the store and I will be shopping there! I know I can shop online but I’d rather go inside the store. Great post!
