Happy Friday! Today on the blog I’m bringing out some of my fall favorites: denim, booties, and a fur (faux) jacket. I have been patiently waiting for the temperatures to drop so I can finally bring out some of my warmer clothes, and this week it finally happened! I’ve never really been drawn to navy blue, but recently I have been finding some pieces in the shade that I love – I think it is definitely a popular color to go for this season and it’s still a dark shade which I love! I found this jacket at Zara a few weeks ago and was immediately drawn to it because of the color. I knew it would be the perfect jacket to pair with jeans but a piece I could work with and dress up or down. It is also super comfortable and more importantly warm, which is something I always look for because I’m literally always freezing! There’s nothing better than a good pair of denim jeans, and as much as I love my solid denims, I’m not really into simple things and that goes for denim as well. What I love about this pair is the black accents throughout the legs – the mixture of leather and black denim adds texture and is a completely different look! While I was getting this jacket from Zara, I came across these navy booties. Now I’m not one to really wear shoes in any other color besides black.. and sometimes nude. But I love these! They are the perfect pair of booties to wear with this jacket and some denim – the color is still fairly dark but it just has a hint of blue which I think looks great with jeans but can be worn really with anything. It is just as neutral as black which is important to me because I like to buy pieces I can use all the time but style differently. The booties paired with the jacket really tie this navy look together and I love how it is something different from what I usually like to wear but is still edgy and cool. I accessorized my look with my new Saint Laurent side bag (which I’m so obsessssssed with!), Rumba watch, The Peach Box jewelry, and No Weekends chokers and sunglasses.
