The Newest Additions to My Haircare Routine

If you’ve been following me for a while, then you know haircare is super important to me! I always love trying new products and sharing my favorite ones with you all so today I am super excited to partner with Nexxus and Target to share some of the newest additions to my haircare routine.

If you’re not familiar with Nexxus, they are an amazing haircare company that really prides themselves on the idea that hair care must go beyond the surface, maximizing the performance of hair. They work with renowned protein experts to decode properties and the specific needs of hair. They develop salon quality products so you can see transformative results. Nexxus has also created a new Proteinlock system that forms an invisible later of protection around hair strands to lock in your hairs essential proteins, which ultimately preserves and protects your hair’s natural proteins. This leads to long-lasting, healthy looking hair, which is something we all want and need!

The four new products I tried out are the Shape & Define Multi-Styler, Smooth & Full Blow Dry Balm, Prep and Protect Leave-In Spray, and the Ultra Fine Hair Spray. Each of them offer something different for your hair and I love them all!

I like to start with the Prep and Protect Leave-In Spray. I use this on damp hair after I shower and love that it gives my hair extra protection when heat styling. It is also super moisturizing (but not oily at all) and detangles any knots I have in my hair which is great. The spray is made with amazing ingredients like hyaluronic acid and elastin protein which leaves my hair feeling smooth and tangle free! After using the Prep and Protect Spray, I apply the Weightless Style Blow Dry Balm. I use this prior to blowdrying/heat style to heat protect, control any frizz, and boost volume (which is something I am always looking for).

After I style my hair I like to go in and add hair spray for extra volume and added body, using the Nexxus Weightless Hold Ultra Fine Hair Spray. I love this spray because it works so well and doesn’t leave my hair feeling sticky or crispy. This hairspray is also fast-drying and provides buildable volume, giving me the ultimate hold and extra body. The last step of my style routine is applying the Shape & Define Multi-Styler Hair Creme. This cream adds shape, texture, and provides a light hold. It also smooths out the ends and gives me the perfect finished look.

By using all these products, I get to achieve all my hair goals. I also love that all these products are clean beauty brands at Target and work on all hair types, from fine & thin hair to wavy and curly hair, and are safe to use on chemically processed and color-treated hair.
