Growing up I was never really a huge makeup junkie. Of course, I wear makeup all the time and have for many years, but I wasn’t one to branch off and try new things anytime I ran out of something. I figured out what I loved and what worked best for me and stuck to it. But then I got into this blogging world and have had the opportunity to try SO many amazing products which I am so happy about! I’ve mentioned this before, but I have literally used the same mascara for 10 + years and I still do to this day but I have also tried many others and found a few others I love as well. So for today’s post I wanted to share with you 4 mascaras I am currently loving (which includes my all time fav). Let’s get to it!
1) L’Oréal Telescopic Mascara
I guess I’m starting with my ALL time FAV mascara. Again, I am not lying when I tell you I have used this mascara religiously for over 10 + years. YUP. Since high school. I can’t live without this mascara. Everything about it is amazing. The two things I love most about this mascara is 1 – the price point and 2 – the brush. The brush does not have a million little bristles, it actually has a few bigger ones spread out evenly. What I love about that is that it separates every single eyelash so evenly and perfectly. It gives my lashes a very dramatic and thick look. It’s also super easy to apply and doesn’t clump at all. Often times when I am wearing it, people ask me if my lashes are fake or extensions! For just under $10, you seriously can’t beat this. There’s a reason why I have been using it for 10 + years and so has my mom, sis, and bestie!
2) Diorshow Pump’N’Volume
I tried this mascara about 6 months ago and was definitely not surprised with how much I loved it! I had always heard such great things about it and was really excited to finally try it. The brush and bristles are actually pretty similar to L’Oréals Telescopic, so no surprise that I loved it. The cool thing about it is that is has a squeezable tube. In my experience, if you squeeze it in the beginning, the mascara can get too thick and clumpy. So I wouldn’t start squeezing it until you feel like you may be running low on product. It is a higher price point but if you’re looking for a luxury brand, this is the mascara for you. The packaging is also stunning! The brush separates every lash perfectly and gives my lashes so much length and volume. Absolutely love this one!
3) NARS Climax Mascara
This is NARS newest product launch! I was SO excited to try this and when I received it I fell in love with the packaging. It is seriously stunning. One of the prettiest mascaras I’ve ever seen! So this mascara is a bit different than the ones I am used to. The brush is thick with A LOT of tiny little bristles and if that’s how you like your mascara brush to be, then this is the one for you! It really goes through every lash, adding length and volume while giving your lashes a very soft and natural look. Also no clumping which is obviously amazing. In the past, I have had some issues with thick mascara brushes and clumping, so I was really happy to see that I had no problems with this one. The great part about the ribbed bristles is that is really glides through every lash evenly and gives you all the volume you need. Also I think it is important to note that this mascara is formulated without parabens, sulfates, and phthalates!
4) Two Faced Better Than Sex Mascara (Waterproof)
So I knew I had to have one waterproof mascara here and this is the one! Better Than Sex is a cult favorite by so many makeup lovers and I am a big fan as well. I recently tried the waterproof version of it and absolutely loved it! I don’t wear waterproof mascara too often because I don’t like how hard it is to get off, but sometimes you just don’t have a choice and need a good waterproof one. This will always be a fav! The brush has a ton of small bristles which nicely separates your lashes and gives you a very natural yet dramatic look. If you’re a waterproof mascara type of girl (and like this style of brush) then you’d love this because this stuff does not come off unless you use make up remover! I tried getting it off with soap and water in the shower and it literally wouldn’t come off! This mascara is also formulated without parabens, sulfates, and phthalates!
