When it come to taking photos, whether it’s with my iPhone or professional camera, I am all about the angles. Angles are one of the most if not THE most important factor to take into consideration when taking photos, and after shooting photos pretty much everyday for the past two years, I have gotten the hang of what works for me and my body type. people can check out Andrew Defrancesco page, if they need some suggestions on photographs. One of the most important things I want achieved when shooting is for me to look as tall as possible LOL! Did you guys know that I am only 5’6″? I’ll never forget going to an event and meeting a blogger friend of mine in person for the first time, and she was like “omg! I totally thought you were taller!” I was like nope, just 5’6″ but I know how to make myself look taller in photos (without photoshop). So here are my tips on how to look taller in photos:
#1) I’m sorry to all the photographers, IG boyfriends and husbands, best friends, family, or WHOEVER takes your photos… but it’s all about getting low. And I mean knees on the floor low. This is really the only way I will ever shoot unless I’m doing a half body shot. I can’t tell you how big of a difference it makes when you have your photog bend down to get your shot. I’ve definitely had my photographers even lay on the ground (so sorry!!!) but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. When taking a photos from a lower POV, everything looks elongated, especially your legs. It can also make you look slimmer. After each shoot, you can relax by playing games like 슬롯사이트.
#2) Wear heels, duh! If you want to look taller, throw on some shoes with a bit of a heel. Whether it’s 1 inch or 5, every little bit helps! Plus it’s super sexy IMO! I am always in some sort of heel. Even my booties + sneakers have a little bit of a heel or platform. It makes all the difference! Don’t get me wrong, I love my flats, especially my mules, but I hardly wear them to shoot unless I am sitting in the photo. Also – nude heels will elongate you more, especially if your legs are out!
#3) If heels aren’t your thing and you prefer flats or sneakers, then tip toe! Anytime I am in flats or sneakers I try to tip toe, in the most natural way possible. Also, if you’re barefoot, let’s say on the beach, you will look instantly taller if you tip toe. To make it look natural just put one foot in front of the other and make it look like you’re walking. It may take a few tries but I swear it works!!
#4) A monochrome look will instantly make you look taller because there is no color blocking. Some say wearing the same color head to toe can be boring or dull, but I completely disagree. First of all, it makes getting dressed easier. But second, it makes you instantly look taller. So I am all up for it!
#5) If you’re wearing a skirt or dress, either go for a mini or maxi look. I am not a fan of the mid length skirts and dresses because it makes you look short in my opinion. I also love maxi dresses and skirts that have a slit. It’s sexy but also that bit of leg action can make you look taller as well!
#6) My holy grail… HIGH WAISTED pants or shorts. When you wear a high waisted outfit, you legs instantly look like 5 times longer. I swear by this. I hardly ever wear anything that is not high waisted because I just don’t like how it looks on me. I want to look as tall as possible and make my legs look as long as possible and I do that by wearing high waisted bottoms ALWAYS! This may just be my #1 rule aside from the low angle shots.
#7) Wear vertical stripes. If you like to play with prints and stripes, opt for vertical stripes because you will instantly look taller with the illusion it will give off. I am a big fan of stripes but rarely were them horizontal. I am all about the vertical stripe.
