REFINED ROMPER

So I know I blogged a romper a couple weeks ago, but I recently purchased this one and really wanted to blog it right away. Unlike my my previous romper, this one is much more casual. Yeah sure, this one does not offer the versatility the other one does, but who cares! It’s still unique and you can do a lot with it. I feel like most rompers these days tend to be super girly, often times you find them with floral prints or in bright colors which is not really my taste so I have a hard time finding ones I really like. That’s why this piece caught my attention – this short-sleeved number is super sophisticated with its buttoned front, collar, and chest patch pockets. All these features, plus the grey wash makes the look very refined and gives it a somewhat masculine feel, which I like because it’s a completely different look. I paired the romper with patent booties from Aldo. I got these a few months back but I get so many compliments everytime I wear them. You know I love my leather, but I love patent leather even more. It can change up a whole look by dressing it up and making it super edgy. However, I do think it is hard to find the right pair of patent leather booties – sometimes they can look like plastic so I was super stoked when I found these! As for accessories, I paired this outfit with my Givenchy Pandora bag, Meister watch, and Forever 21 rings. Also, I styled my hair using my brand new Sultra Bombshell Curling Wand – it’s my first time trying a wand on my hair and I love it! It’s been extremely hot in SoCal lately, and unlike last weeks post, I was so hot during this weeks! If it was cooler, I could have thrown on a cute leather jacket to finish off the look.
